Terms & Conditions• Any students breaking British Law or persisting in serious anti-social behaviour, will be disciplined. In serious cases students may be sent home at their own expense with no refund of fees • BayLingo accepts students on the assumption that they are in good health. We do not accept responsibility for: loss or damage to any property belonging to the students; injury or loss of life to any participant; loss or expenses due to delays or changes in air, rail, sea or other services, weather, quarantine, sickness, strikes or any other cause • It is the student's responsibility to have a valid passport and to arrange all permits and visas • Students are responsible for any damage they may cause and will have to pay the full cost of replacement or repair • BayLingo reserves the right to change or cancel course programmes without prior notice in the event of low numbers or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control • All sports/activities/excursions are undertaken at students' own risk. If you do not wish your child to participate in any particular sporting activity, please advise at time of booking. • BayLingo take photographs and videos during our courses which we may use for promotional purposes. Please advise us at time of booking if you do not wish your son/daughter to appear in any promotional material • If you have come via an Agent, their Terms of Contract may apply to you, but we reserve the right to apply our own Terms • We reserve the right to take any fair and reasonable action we think appropriate should a situation arise not coved by these Terms • Any students found in possession of unsuitable items will have such items confiscated for the duration of the course. • Any alcohol or drug use will not tolerated and will lead to a student being sent home at their own expense without any refund of course fees. • Students under 16 are not allowed out in the evening. Over 16s must have prior written consent from parents and a return time no later than 10pm must be agreed with the host family before students are permitted to go out. • We strongly recommend you do not bring unnecessary valuables with you • In case of illness or injury BayLingo will seek advice of a medical consultant unless advised otherwise by the parent/guardian. Student may be charged for a consultation with a doctor, however in most cases, and initial consultation is free. Students from outside the EU are not entitled to free treatment and must ensure the appropriate health and travel insurances are in place prior to travel. • BayLingo staff can administer common, non-prescribed medicine such as paracetemol as necessary, unless we are advised by parents/guardians not to do so. In the case of a Medical Emergency, students will be taken to the nearest Accident and Emergency Hospital where initial treatment is free. Cancellation Policy • The deposit of £75.00 is non refundable. • If notice of cancellation is made 29-15 days before the start of the course a cancellation charge of 50% is due. • If written cancellation is received less than 14 days before the start of a course all fees are payable. Fees will not be reimbursed if the student arrives late or departs before the end of their course. • Students cannot join a course unless full payment has been received by BayLingo DO: • Speak English • Be on time • Be kind and friendly to you host family, teachers, staff and other students • Attend and participate in all lessons and activities • Look after your belongings , you accommodation and school premises • Keep your room tidy • Treat your Host family with respect DON’T • Smoke, drink alcohol or take drugs • Bring or buy knives, weapons or toy guns • Swear, fight or bully • Drop Litter • Use your mobile phone, MP3 player or handheld games console in lessons and activities • Damage school or Host family property • Steal or shoplift BayLingo value your comments and feedback. Students will complete a satisfaction questionnaire at the beginning and end of their stay. If you are unhappy about something, please discuss it with your host family or BayLingo staff. If it continues to be a problem, please speak with our teacher or Baylingo staff. We endeavour to make your stay a happy and enjoyable experience. |
